She thought her past was buried. He’s about to unearth the truth along with her heart.

Thea Weaver came to Acton, Colorado, for a fresh start. She poured her soul into her bar, Bottle Grounds, and into protecting her sisters. But when her ex-husband—a dangerous man from a dangerous past—threatens to resurface, Thea knows she can’t face him alone.

Logan Cash has spent his life fixing what’s broken: his family, his ranch, and his daughter’s future. So when Thea, his stubborn and fiercely independent friend, asks for his help, he doesn’t hesitate. Even if it means pretending to be her husband.

But what starts as a charade to protect Thea’s business soon stirs something deeper between them. Late-night rides and shared secrets force them closer, but Thea’s past isn’t finished with her yet. As Logan fights to shield her from the storm heading her way, Thea must decide if she can truly trust him—not just with her bar, but with her heart.

Synopsis

What’s worse than having an enemy you don’t actually hate? Having that enemy become your roommate.

When Molly’s long-term boyfriend decides he doesn’t wanna live together, she’s determined to find a place where she doesn’t have to live alone.

Though what she isn’t expecting is ending up being one on one with her biggest hater, Garrett.

Garrett likes to keep to himself. He likes going to his job as a mechanic, coming home to solitude, gaming online, and being left alone.

But when the girl he kept out of bounds becomes his new roommate, he’s forced to face things he wanted to leave buried.

Many nights with just the two of them makes him have to face the fact that the feelings he thought he’d gotten rid of, were nowhere near gone.

Unfortunately, for Garrett, he doesn’t know the first thing about how to be nice to Molly, and has to find a way to make her realize that he’s not as bad as he once portrayed.

But will he be able to open himself up in ways that Molly needs? Or will they just end up right where they started?
